COST CENTRES WINDOW:
Use this window to describe account control centres to which
costings are assigned. Costing centres are areas of account activity.
EXAMPLES:
Office Equipment
Rent
Telephone
Electricity
The cost centres take into consideration income and expenditure. For
example you could define a cost centre (account control?) called
'STOCK' and allocate all stock purchases and sales to it. Far handier
than 'STOCK PURCHASES' & 'SALES'!
Although PENNYWISE makes it easy to re-edit items or enter new items, a
little planning is advised to identify these cost centres before you begin.
NOTE: Although you may enter an amount brought forward from the previou
previous period, Pennywise will only show the results for the
current period. In other words, 'Amounts brought forward' are
ignored in calculations.
